Susana Shahabaldine
The best dental practice in the area. I have visited the practice twice now and the experience on both occasions were great. Dr Sahil and Dr Colin made me feel at ease and explained everything in detail. I also have to mention Dipti at reception who lovely and provides great service. Highly recommend Dickens Yard Dental!
Rizwan Rizvi
Had an amazing experience at Dickens Yard Dental. Walked in without an appointment and was seen immediately. The dentist was fantastic, extremely thorough, explaining what he was doing at each step, and then providing full guidance on how to manage it myself. I cannot recommend this dental practise enough if you live in and around Ealing.
Lieven Vandergoten
Friendly family run dentist. Responsive and comforting to inquiries. Explains exhaustively the treatments. Flexible hours (Wednesday to Sunday). Provides good advise for daily dental hygiene. Convenient new infrastructure in Ealing Broadway. Highly recommended!

Dr Vimalan Kulendran BDS
Dentist
School: King's College London, 2015
GDC Reg No: 259035
Vim takes great pride in making our patients feel heard and understood.
Dr. Vim Kulendran joined Dickens Yard Dental in 2022, bringing with him nine years of diverse experience in practice and hospital. He has a passion for both restoring damaged teeth to their natural function and enhancing smiles through cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, and composite bonding.
Beyond aesthetics, Vim is a strong advocate for preventive dentistry, empowering patients with the knowledge and care needed to maintain lifelong oral health. He finds immense fulfillment in making a real difference in his patients’ lives, whether it’s helping them overcome dental anxiety or restoring their confidence with a transformed smile.
What Vim loves most about dentistry is its dynamic nature—no two days are ever the same. The challenges, the opportunities for continuous learning, and, most importantly, the trust and gratitude of his patients drive him to always strive for excellence.
One of his proudest moments involved a patient who had struggled with severe dental anxiety for years. Through patience, understanding, and gentle care, Vim helped them regain confidence in dental treatment, ultimately completing a full smile rehabilitation. Witnessing their transformation reaffirmed his commitment to patient-centred care and the life-changing impact of dentistry.
Outside the clinic, Vim maintains a balanced and active lifestyle. A passionate football fan and lifelong Arsenal supporter, he enjoys both playing and following the sport. He also prioritises fitness with regular gym sessions and unwinds by getting lost in a good book or movie.
With his dedication to high-quality dentistry, patient care, and continued learning, Vim is a valued member of the Dickens Yard Dental team. We’re delighted to have him on board!
Mr Colin Dunlop
Hygienist
School: Glasgow 2002
GDC Reg No. 5773
Having gained a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2000 from Glasgow Dental Hospital, Colin has spent the last 23 years planning, developing and implementing periodontal health and maintenance treatments for his patients. Colin is a dedicated, highly motivated and passionate hygienist with a gentle touch which puts patients at ease.
“I moved to Hanwell around 20 years ago, and am truly embedded into the community. Outside of work, I can usually be found in the local parks and restaurants with my young family. When I have a minute to myself, you can usually find me with my nose in a book or in the kitchen baking.
I really enjoy caring for the gum health of my patients and take great pride in making a difference to the successful outcome of treatments that I provide especially when dealing with chronic periodontal disease. Periodontal disease can often go unnoticed until it is quite advanced. Most people however will notice signs like red swollen gums, bleeding gums, gum recession, tooth sensitivity and bad breath. It’s at this point that I can help to ensure your gums stay healthy.
In addition, to helping maintain a healthy mouth, Colin takes particular care of patients who are having dental implants, cosmetic procedures and orthodontic (braces) treatment”
